Campaign Description

Will provide custom bespoke rhyming Children's Story every month for all supporters, based upon their input for main character and message of the story. If can gain enough monthly supporters will be able to quit my job and focus full time on writing my novel.
Story

• Why are you launching this campaign? (This is perhaps the most important aspect, people want to know what your needs are, what is your story; they want to support you and your specific cause or need): Looking to gain enough support (and publicity) to write my novel full-time. Currently work so many hours that do not have enough energy - especially creative energy - to write my novel, as life slips by day-by-day, a slave to the grind.

What service(s) and/or product(s) are you offering in exchange for support to achieve your goal? (What makes this uniquely you? What unique services, skills, and/or products can you provide?): Each month I will provide a custom, bespoke rhyming Children's Story for all supporters, incorporating their input on the main character and main message (an example is included in the "rewards" section).

What are your immediate needs and goals?: To gain as many monthly supporters as possible, while building a support base and marketing. Goal of at least 100 supporters to start out with.

What are your more long-term goals?: To continually add more supporters each month, with a goal of 500 monthly supporters at $5 each (or some combination that would equal $2,500 per month, allowing me to quit my job to write my novel full time).

In what ways are you taking accountability and initiative to achieve those goals?: Grinding it out day-by-day, not giving up on the dream to write my novel, thinking of "novel" ways (pun intended) to gain support, and using my writing skills to craft custom, bespoke rhyming children's stories for supporters so that there is a value to the support and the exchange.

In what ways do you need support?: If enough monthly financial support were gained I would be able to quit my job and focus on writing my novel full time.

Total needed to raise: $2,500 per month for 6 months and will be able to complete my novel.

Income per service or product offered: Suggested $5 per month for custom, bespoke rhyming children's story.

Total combined sales of service or products needed to achieve your long-term goal (total needed to raise divided by the income per service or product): 500 supporters per month for 6 months to achieve $15,000 total ($2,500 per month). Or, fewer supporters who are willing to contribute a larger amount.

If you had to divide the above up into achievable phases, how many campaigns do you think it would take to reach your long-term goal?: 6 months of successful $2,500 campaigns.

Let’s start with your most immediate needs and goals, and create a campaign specifically for that. What is your immediate financial need and goal?: $2,500 (which once achieved can earn ongoing monthly support from the same supporters in exchange for new monthly custom, bespoke rhyming children's stories).

What services and or products are you offering, and at which price?: Monthly custom, bespoke rhyming children's stories.

What makes your services and or products uniquely you?: I have been writing rhyming children's stories since college, and enjoy including unique messages and lessons within them.

How many services or products do you need to sell to achieve the
goals of this first campaign?: 500 at the rate of $5 each, or some combination of few supporters at a higher amount.

How soon do you hope to raise the funds for this first campaign?: Within 30 days, to then be repeated (based upon the quality of the provided monthly children's stories to supporters).

After succeeding in this first campaign, consider what the next achievable phase would be (it might be simply repeating what you did before, and building momentum along with expanding upon your community of Social Network TM members that have already supported you): Repeated monthly for 6 months, with a new children's story each month for supporters.

In what ways are you demonstrating…
o Perseverance: Grinding it out, day-by-day, as a typical schmuck.
o Initiative: Creating unique rhyming children's stories based upon supporter interest.
o Sensible budgeting: I've learned to love macaroni and cheese, canned chili, and the generic aisle.
o Responsible lifestyle and decision-making: I live a very boring life, saving up funds and energy to write my book.
