Campaign Description

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE CAMPAIGN: People can create campaigns to support non-profits, and non-profit organizations themselves can create campaigns. By leveraging the community of existing supporters of the non-profit, a highly effective campaign can be created in which individuals contribute services or products.
Story

• Why are you launching this campaign? (This is perhaps the most important aspect, people want to know what your needs are, what is your story; they want to support you and your specific cause or need): Example Non-Profit Organization "A" is raising funds for an immediate need (disaster, fire, earthquake, etc.). James is an artist and potter, and he has decided to create this campaign to raise funds for that non-profit by offering his unique products.

As part of creating this campaign James had the option to select "Yes" when asked if this campaign is in support of a third-party beneficiary (listed as one of the steps when creating a campaign). By choosing this, the non-profit organization was contacted directly by Social Debtwork TM to confirm both the organization's approval of this campaign as well as the organization's direct PayPal account link so that any and all support can be transparently transferred directly to the organization.

What service(s) and/or product(s) are you offering in exchange for support to achieve your goal? (What makes this uniquely you? What unique services, skills, and/or products can you provide?): James is offering homemade coffee mugs made in his kiln and with his hands. Supporters know that these are unique coffee mugs made by James, and that their purchase of these coffee mugs also provides support for this fundraiser.

What are your immediate needs and goals?: $5,000

What are your more long-term goals?: This is a one-time campaign

In what ways are you taking accountability and initiative to achieve those goals?: James has created this campaign, is offering his own handmade coffee mugs, and is sharing the information with his friends, family, and social network.

In what ways do you need support?: Raising $5,000 for Example Non-Profit Organization "A" in support of the recent emergency.

Total needed to raise: $5,000

Income per service or product offered: $50 per coffee mug

Total combined sales of service or products needed to achieve your long-term goal (total needed to raise divided by the income per service or product): Need to sell 100 coffee mugs to raise $5,000

If you had to divide the above up into achievable phases, how many campaigns do you think it would take to reach your long-term goal?: Just this one.

Let’s start with your most immediate needs and goals, and create a campaign specifically for that. What is your immediate financial need and goal?: $5,000

What services and or products are you offering, and at which price?: Listed above.

What makes your services and or products uniquely you?: These coffee mugs were made with care and love by James, and fired at his home in his own pottery kiln.

How many services or products do you need to sell to achieve the
goals of this first campaign?: Listed above.

How soon do you hope to raise the funds for this first campaign?: Within 30 days.

After succeeding in this first campaign, consider what the next achievable phase would be (it might be simply repeating what you did before, and building momentum along with expanding upon your community of Social Network TM members that have already supported you):

In what ways are you demonstrating…
o Perseverance:
o Initiative:
o Sensible budgeting:
o Responsible lifestyle and decision-making:
